It’s been a while since I’ve picked up a piece of fiction that I loved as much as this book. It’s the kind of book that draws you in page by page until you realise it’s four in the morning and you’ve been reading for hours. Without giving too much away (for people who want to read this book and I recommend you do), it follows ‘Madison and Jess’ and their encounters with the formidable Beau Silverman. The book begins with the two girls and their separate paths before bringing them together in an effortless way. This has fast become one of my favourite books and is perfect if you want a great holiday read too. It had me smiling, laughing and even gasping aloud. Great escapism which, with everything going on at the moment is exactly what I needed. Strong female characters that I wanted to relate to and I cared about and a great plot that had me on the edge of my seat until the end, hoping that everyone would get what they deserve.
