I’m recruiting a Community Manager for a client that specialises in secure payment methods for the Android app market. The company is a highly innovative, dynamic team with global headquarters based in Victoria, London. Due to the nature of the role this position will be office-based.

This is a position which will allow someone with an interest in Android apps and community management to take their career to the next level. You will play a key part in creating your role, along with defining the engagement strategy for the brand as a whole.

Responsibilities

  • Implement the community and social media strategy, coordinating with company stakeholders to ensure our community outreach initiatives are effective, legal, and appropriate.
  • Work with the Product Development team to ensure all information communicated to potential and existing customers is up-to-date.
  • Regularly report on insights collated from customer feedback to help direct the company’s future product development.
  • Be a company advocate across the web by engaging in relevant dialogues, and by answering customers’ pre- and post-purchase questions.
  • Manage the company’s presence on communities across the web, including Facebook, Twitter, relevant blogs, and any other social media sites.
  • Create a blogger outreach program and build an active brand ambassador network to ensure the company – and our products – are talked about.
  • Develop and manage a peer-to-peer community to ensure all customer questions are responded to.
  • Ensure the company’s blog, FAQs, and any other interactive areas on our website are up-to-date and vibrant.
  • Encourage adoption of social media into the company’s culture.

Requirements

  • A strong awareness and interest of Android, Android apps, and Android app development is essential.
  • At least two years community management experience within a well-known company or agency.
  • An effective communicator, you will have participated in online communities and be confident about speaking to entrepreneurs and app developers across all social media platforms.
  • Good technical understanding of Android apps and phone operating systems.
  • A team player with the confidence to act as the voice of our customers within the organization
  • Editorial, marketing, PR and customer service knowledge or experience an advantage
